Maddiie Vali

Daylight to Moonlight

A girl with hair as black as night,
A smile on her face, wherever she goes,
Believes everything will be alright,
Negativity never shows.

Good grades in every class,
Aiding anyone in need,
Not a beggar she would pass,
Constantly doing a good deed.

Yet, in the dark,
From the inside out, she grows,
A howl and a bark,
Something that no one knows.

She has become
a vicious beast,
A murderous, gruesome
creature that is ready to feast.
