Christmas Time

Christmas Time

A smell of candle and a taste of honey:
Christmas is no longer far.
Soon we‘ll remember the star,
will avoid to think of war and money.

We like to see the world in glee
and we pretend: so it shall be:
all dissonance must flee.

We lock the „secrets“ away with a key
but everybody gets to know
- because we cannot resist to show -
the might of our monopoly.

Who makes a plea
to end this jamboree?
Men never changed the injury
throughout the world by such festivity.

A smell of candle and a taste of honey:
CHRIST ‘s birthday is not far.
If faithful you will follow the star
you will join the REDEEMER ‘s company.
