Fergal Dunne

Truth and Illusion (A lesson for the soul)

The naked eye can deceive

And things are not so clear.

It’s what they want you to believe

That makes them insincere.

Hope can breathe on the illusion

When infatuation is the game.

Lies and twisted by delusion.

Your messages seem the same.

Emotions can damage your health

And bring you to conceive.

The hand you thought you dealt

Is not the one that you receive.
