Liza Wick

I hope...

you left me
in a dark November night
and you are not coming back
I know you left for good
but I refuse to believe it
in my imagination you are still here
calling every minute
coming in the door
waking me up on Sunday mornings
I hope you know how much I loved you
how much I still love you
I told you before you left Iīd take care of her
and I always will
I hope you donīt mind me having fun in school
I know you donīt mind
please take care of me
please still be proud of me
because this is what keeps me going...
