Brats

Little kids, in their little coats,
playing with
their electric boats.
Balloons tied
to their glovèd hands,
shiny shoes, expensive brands.
They go home for tea and cake;
freshly brewed, home made bake.
Later, in their beds,
they dream
of birthday parties, and ice-cream.

I was sitting in the town square yesterday afternoon, and a bunch of kids were running around with balloons. I had to laught to myself, as they looked like mini Michelin men all wrapped up in their wadded coats :-)Authors comment
