Rebecca K.

The tears you never cried

You’re slipping through my fingertips

That never even touched your heart

A faded shimmer of sold-out bliss

They said love hard

Not smart

I’m nauseous from the aftertaste

Of see-you-never-kisses

Lips still swollen, take(-)out waste

Of poisoned glitter wishes

Through trampled traces on my soul

You spread under my skin

My lungs imbued with stains of coal

From burntout bunaftin(e)

I’m drowning in the parch of tears

You’re too craven to cry

A piercing whisper skims my ears

„I’ll love you ´till I die“.
