Keep your beginner's mind

When

every secret

of this world is revealed

all angels, elves and magic fairies

are drowned in knowledge without wisdom

the cosmos is seemingly completely disenchanted

and people gradually cease to be amazed

at the many unfathomable wonders of this world

they will never again be as happy

like a small child who, with shining eyes

points up to the starry sky and asks

"Does the good Lord live there?

Wenn

jedes Geheimnis

dieser Welt gelüftet ist

alle Engel, Elfen und Zauberfeen

in Wissen ohne Weisheit ertrunken sind

der Kosmos scheinbar vollständig entzaubert ist

die Menschen ganz allmählich aufhören zu staunen

über die vielen unergründlichen Wunder dieser Welt

werden sie niemals mehr so glücklich sein können

wie ein kleines Kind, das mit glänzenden Augen

zum Sternenhimmel hoch zeigt und fragt

„Wohnt dort der liebe Gott?
