Misunderstood
I IMAGINE it was like this:
When Jesus carried the Cross.
He fell.
And all of Hell...LAUGHED!
"The Son of God has fallen,"
the minions shouted with glee..
"He has failed, He is defeated
To THAT ALL MUST agree!"
But then the unexpected happened
Something they couldn't foresee.
Grabbed by Roman Soliders
Simon of Cyrene was forced
To walk behind Jesus and
To carry the fallen CROSS.
Hell did not understand
this act was symbolic
for every Man:
It's ok to fall when you're
Carrying your cross,
And HELP can be provided
From an unlikely source.
It doesn't mean you've
Failed when you fall.
It means that there is
a space For Help to come
and relief for One and All.
So when Simon took on
The weight of The CROSS,
I'm sure the minions were at
A loss to explain how this help
could BE...
And available for You and me.
They do not understand
that even as We carry
Our cross, the Father's LOVE
Is Never Lost.
And even from the most
Unlikely places
Help can come and relieves
some weight, some pain...
of the Cross.
