The Pillars of stature, so grand and alive
Are building a temple of nature's thrive
The forests, they breathe and create the space
For countless beings a home and place
There one can wander, find solace and peace
Whoever respects them, loneliness will cease
Their shade in the summer, the change in the year
We thank and honor you, trees, oh dear!
We take so much, so much we earn
Something we have to give in return
For the table, newspaper and wardrobe
The violin, board, bench and boat
