Across The Great Divide

Across the great divide,
I decided to take a ride
After years of a rift
No longer to drift,
And not be held down by Pride.

I took all I was
And on bended kne
Made the decision to leave
The Selfish Land of Me.

Hardest thing I've done
Definitely devoid of Fun,
 But oh, so necessary for
My sal-va-tion...
