In a town that was so little
lived a man so lonely and brittle,
there was no one to see
how lonely was he,
and he passed all day
and there was nothing to say,
so he heaped up words
like all lonely birds,
and he meant them to be
so genial and free,
beyond andy doubt,
so convincing and sound,
but he cheated himself
as if lost on the shelf
and continued to be
a trogloditeeeeeeee ...
