You’re the holy ray of light, my daily morning sun

You make the ripples spread out across the water

You’re my rising love at the far away horizon

After every sorrow you make me laughter

The lovely way you smell is incomparable

Loving you is, believe me, such a great passion

Every one of the other lovers is regrettable

I’m the luckiest man on earth, I have to mention

You know, I could give you attributes from flowers

But there’s nothing on earth as beautiful as you are

To continue describing you would exceed my powers

You’re my guardian angel and my lovely shining star
