Erika Seetzen-Woods

Inconsistency

Denim jeans.
Four cans of beer.
200 miles from home.
Privacy of my bedsit.
Enjoying isolation,
hatred too.

Square peg
in a round world.
Whimsical,
moody,
changing.
Bound up
in loneliness.

Brain- whacked.
Breaking out.
Easing tension:
Painting,
writing
poetry,
prose.
Smoking.

Hatred
of conformity.
Infringement
of freedom.
Society’s wrongs,
parties,
women,
wine...

Tomorrow?
Nothing
is constant.
