C'était
Il y a longtemps
Ils arrivèrent
Sur la Terre
Une planète dévastée
Sans aucune forme de vie
Ils se dirent
Qu'il y eut peut-être
Du vivant, un jour
Sur cette planète ravagée
Mais ils comprirent, leurs savants
Que les gens qui y habitèrent
Passèrent leur temps à s'y exterminer
Et finalement, ils repartirent contents
De savoir
Que cette engeance éprise de sang
Ne put s'expandre ailleurs dans la voie lactée
A quoi n'avait-on pas échappé ?
Oui, ils s'en retournèrent satisfaits et soulagés
C'était il y a longtemps
